NYC Debit Card Program For Illegals
In March 2024, New York City launched the “Helping Hand” program — a $53 million taxpayer-funded debit card giveaway for illegals. That’s right: while millions of hardworking American citizens were struggling to keep up thanks to Bidenomics, NYC decided your tax dollars were better spent handing out free cash to people who broke the law to be here.
And what exactly were they buying with it? Food and baby supplies, according to the city — because apparently, the free meals already being provided by shelters and luxury hotels (at taxpayer expense) weren’t good enough. Reports showed that migrants were frequently tossing perfectly good food because it wasn’t to their liking — chicken dishes and sandwiches literally thrown in the trash.
And the city’s “safeguard” for this program? Migrants were asked to sign an affidavit promising to only spend the money on approved items.
So let me get this straight — people whose first act in the country was breaking immigration law are now expected to self-police how they spend free money?
Free Luxury Hotel Rooms
While homeless veterans sleep on the sidewalk, people who crossed the border illegally are living it up — in luxury hotels. Thanks to liberals “compassion,” entire hotels in Manhattan were converted into migrant shelters where illegals were handed free room and board, courtesy of the American taxpayer.
We're not talking about cots in a basement. We're talking luxury private rooms in Midtown Manhattan, where rates normally hit $300+ a night. In some cases, they were even given free room service, housekeeping, laundry service, and more.
Meanwhile, working-class Americans — the same people footing the bill — are drowning in rent, groceries, and gas.

How Did They Repay The Favor?
They trashed it.
Literally.
The same hotel rooms they were given — for free — were left in ruins. According to whistleblowers, migrants routinely violated city rules, cooked inside rooms, and turned the place into a dump.
Think: beer bottles everywhere, hot plates on furniture, overflowing garbage, and destroyed property — all in buildings that tourists used to pay top dollar to stay in.
So to recap:
Illegally enter the country → get a free hotel suite → trash it like it's spring break in Tijuana.
And guess who gets stuck with the cleanup bill?
